A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Heidi
I graduated from massage school in 1999, and more than 25 years later, I’m still learning through my hands. One of the biggest lessons has been letting go of the idea that I’m here to fix anyone. I spent years exhausting myself trying to do exactly that. My foundation was in deep tissue and sports massage, but experience has taught me that deeper doesn’t always mean better, and that my role is to listen, support, and trust what your body already knows.
My curiosity has continued to expand my work to include Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki, and other modalities and techniques. Today, I draw from that growing toolbox, my intuition, and decades of hands-on experience to create sessions that respond to the person on my table rather than follow a predetermined routine.
More than anything, I want my treatment room to feel safe. A place where there's nothing to perform, prove, accomplish, or get right. Where you can simply receive, get curious about what you're experiencing, and feel comfortable asking for what you need.
You deserve to feel good in your body.
And there's a whole human attached to these hands.
I'm a barefoot, tree-hugging, perpetually curious human being, still learning to embrace the being and do a little less doing. Outside the treatment room, you'll find me forest bathing, hiking, practicing yoga, floating whenever and wherever possible, playing in the dirt, traveling, making something creative, or following my latest "Heidea."
I'm still figuring out who I want to be when I grow up, and I'm increasingly convinced that staying curious might be the whole point.

What’s In My Intentional Healing Toolbox?
-
Traditional massage therapy uses hands-on pressure, kneading, and long gliding strokes to release muscle tension and improve circulation. Pressure ranges from light and relaxing to deep and targeted, depending on your goals and tolerance.
-
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that encourages lymph fluid to move through the lymphatic system and away from areas of swelling. The lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the surface, so light pressure is used.
-
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice in which the practitioner rests their hands lightly on or just above the body. Paired with massage, it adds a calm, meditative layer to the physical work. Many clients describe feeling deeply relaxed and mentally settled afterwards.
-
Aromatherapy can be a great complementary add-on for your healing session. It's a simple way to deepen the calming effects of your treatment. Please let me know about any allergies or scent sensitivities before your session so I can tailor the experience to you.
-
Cupping is a healing practice that uses gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying tissue. Specialized cups are placed on the body to encourage circulation, release muscle tension, and ease stiffness and soreness.
-
A warm table, warm towels, and permission to melt. Heat may be one of the simplest tools in my toolbox, but it’s definitely one of the favorites. Your table temperature can always be adjusted for your comfort, and most sessions include warm, moist towels to help you soften, relax, and settle a little more deeply into your time on the table.
